Release 2.4.0 Enhancements

New, Updated UI

Updated UI provides a new modern look and feel that improves customer experience when interacting with the authenticator's UI. This new UI update is automatic and does not require any changes on the customer's or user's behalf. All custom branding previously in place will automatically take ae in the new UI.

In Browser Quality Analysis Improves Workflow Efficiency

Verified's quality analysis can now run locally in browser on supported devices. When authenticating, users will notice increased responsiveness from the authentication UI when providing positioning feedback as well as smile detection. This new analysis capability is off by default in 2.4.0 and will be enabled by default in a future release. If you wish to turn this feature on please contact support.

User Notifications To Improve Workflow Efficiency

When authenticating, users will be prompted if a glare is detected. This allows users to adjust lighting or reposition immediately, increasing the probability of a successful capture and improving the user experience.

Workflow Improvements To Reduce False Rejections

Users are now allowed to retry their selfie capture during a Proof session in the event the first capture did not meet quality and liveness thresholds. This modification to the workflow improves user experience and streamlines the authentication workflow.

User Ability To Authenticate Across Devices

Users can now move to a mobile device during a Verified authentication transaction that originated on a desktop computer to complete the authentication process.
