Release 2.11.0 Enhancements

Dynamic Enrollment

A critical enhancement, this capability simplifies the deployment of Verified™ to your user population by dynamically presenting users with different identity verification options at the time of enrollment. Users may be presented with a choice between a Verified Selfie™ or receiving an out-of-band SMS notification containing a one-time passcode (OTP). Developers can easily tailor the user enrollment experience into Verified by adjusting which of these identity verification options are available to the user and the probability that a user will get one or both options. To learn more, please visit our documentation page.

Key Benefits

Simplified Deployment

With Dynamic Enrollment, organizations can set the probability between 0 and 100% that a user will receive the option of SMS OTP or Verified Selfie™, gradually increasing the percentage of the population leveraging Verified Selfie™ over time; allowing for a seamless and controlled rollout to a large user base.

User Choice

Dynamic Enrollment makes it easy for organizations to support the needs of individuals who do not wish to or are unable to enroll using a Verified Selfie™ ensuring that users can take advantage of their services regardless of their preferences, demographics, or socioeconomic status. This capability allows organizations to leverage the latest biometric technology without compromising their diversity and inclusion objectives or causing an undue burden for the user.

Dynamic Enrollment allows for reporting on the below metrics, enabling the organizations to monitor the adoption of Verified Selfie™ across their user base.

  • How many users were presented with the following offers and which offer was selected
    • Biometrics
    • OTP
    • Skip
  • How many SMS OTP users chose to upgrade to biometrics
  • How many users began Biometric enrollment but did not complete the enrollment
  • How many users began Biometric enrollment and completed enrollment
  • How many successful biometric authentications have occurred
  • How many successful SMS OTP authentications have occurred
  • How many biometric authentications have failed for a given user
  • How many biometric authentication attempts failed for a given user

Multiple Camera Support

A usability improvement. Users can now choose between their active cameras during in-line authentication, without changing their browser settings.
