In authID, credential enrollment is the secure registration procedure that links a user's identity to their authentication credentials inside the authID platform. authID-integrated applications and services allow users to authenticate using these credentials.

The fundamental user record within the authID platform is called an Account. An Account serves as a container for user attributes, credentials, and transactions. The process for creating an account is detailed in the Create a User Account section.
